YouTube has recently announced that the platform will be releasing a 4-part mini-series, that is currently untitled, about Demi Lovato’s life. Demi Lovato is an actress and singer who first made her name as a teen star on Disney Channel. Now in her 20’s, Demi Lovato has been very open over the past few years about many of her struggles, including drug-addiction, rehab, and opening up about her sexuality.
In 2017, Demi opened the door for the world into her life in her Youtube Originals documentary “Simply Complicated”. Since that time, her complex journey has continued and she is ready to share even more of her life. YouTube’s new series will be directed by Michael Ratner, who recently directed Justin Bieber’s mini-series “Seasons.” There is no set release date as of yet, but we look forward to learning more about it as information becomes available.
This mini-series is among many that YouTube announced recently. Among the announced series’ will be a 2nd season of Instant Influencer With James Charles, a family and children’s show called Lockdown, and UHC: Ultimate Home Championship, hosted by basketball star Steph Curry.
