Ever since I started working with Flatbed Press in Austin, Texas on several editions of etching, I’ve gotten questions from friends about the process and how a hand-pulled print differs from one created in large quantities using commercial printing techniques. This video is a helpful demonstration by the workers at Pace Prints. They are printing an etching by artist, Shahzia Sikander. Take a look.
