This 76-year-old crime-kicking, pro martial arist and famous actor is no stranger to America or to the rest of the world. Chuck Norris went from the United States Air Force to martial artist, rising in fame fairly quickly. In 1972, he starred alongside Bruce Lee in Way of the Dragon, and now the movie and television star has many action-packed credits to his name.
Norris founded the KICKSTART KIDS Program in 1990 with the help of President George H. W. Bush. He also produced and played the starring role in the crime/drama television series Walker Texas Ranger from 1993 until 2001, which was a huge hit, and people still watch to this day. I am even a fan of this brilliant actor and the TV show.
Norris has done several commercials, was recently in a music video, and is a devout Christian and Conservative. Norris has written several books on Christianity. One book in particular, that I own and thoroughly enjoyed reading is Against All Odds: My Story. This book was given to me at a young age, and I still have it on my bookshelf. Norris has been known to donate to a number of Republican candidates and causes. On his Christian Resource Page you will find a free gift of salvation. “Chuck’s greatest desire is for people to come to know God personally. The simple truth is that there is a God who created you and loves you very much.”
Chuck Norris has five children and 9 grandchildren. In 1998, 59-year-old Norris married former model 36-year-old Gena O’Kelley. They have a daughter and son that are actors and another son who is a stuntman. Chuck Norris also has a brother in the film industry, Aaron Norris, who is a producer, actor, and director. Chuck Norris is one that has created a legacy and become an inspiration to many.
Norris is simply one of the greatest Modern Royals, that I can write an article about.
Just be sure to remember Walker’s theme song…”The eyes of the ranger are upon you, evil you do he’s gonna see, so when you’re in Texas look behind you, cause who knows, that’s probably where the black-belt ranger’s gonna be.”
