Just Married! Luke Combs and Nicole Hocking Get Hitched

    By Taylor Mandel | Music | Comments are Closed | 4 August, 2020 | 2

Tropical storm Isaias couldn’t stop country star Luke Combs from saying “I do” to the woman of his dreams, Nicole Hocking.

The couple, who announced their engagement in 2018, tied the knot during an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, August 1 at their southern Florida residence, according to People.

Combs expressed his excitement on Instagram by posting beach photos of the newlyweds, writing, “Yesterday was the best day of my life. I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever.”

Hocking shared the same photos on her own Instagram, writing, “Yesterday was the most special day!! I’m so happy to spend the rest of my life with you! Although we wish we could have had every single one of our family & friends there, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next year!”

According to People, “The two started dating when Hocking was working at BMI in Nashville when there ‘was no publishing deal, no record deal, no booking deal.’”

After dating for two years, Combs got down on one knee and announced the couple’s engagement on IG.

She said yes a while ago but this is a way better place to take pictures than the kitchen. Can’t wait to spend forever with you @nicohocking I Love You! #Mahalo

And of course, Hocking showed off her blinding, emerald-cut diamond ring while vacationing in Hawaii.

Now that I’ve had time to let it sink in a little.. I always said if I was to ever get married, I didn’t want to pick out the ring or go ring shopping. I wanted it to be something that when he saw it, he knew that it was the one.. & boyyyyyy did he out do himself. I never thought a ring could mean so much to me. I love you Luke Albert Combs, I’m going to marry the hell outta you ♥️♥️♥️

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Combs, may your love be everlasting!
