Calling all DJ’s from newbies to pros: it’s time to break out the mixers and faders for a summer contest you don’t want to miss.
Now through July 8th, Deadmau5 and Beatsource, the “open-format music service from Beatport,” are asking you to remix the funky summer-inspired track “Pomegranate” from Deadmau5 and The Neptunes…and the winner will receive a hefty $2,000 Apple Gift Card.
Entering is simple. All you have to do is record yourself spinning your version of the song in 60 seconds or less. Post the video to Instagram using #PomegranateDJChallenge and tag @deadmau5 and @beatsourceofficial, and you’re in. Make sure your entry is submitted by July 8th at 11:59 p.m. PST.
Creativity is the key to winning, so now’s your time to impress the Beatsource team and show them what you’re made of. Keep an eye out on Beatsource and Deadmau5’s social media for the winner announcement on July 15th.
