Miley Cyrus announced the tracklist for her upcoming album Plastic Hearts—her first since 2017’s Younger Now.
The pop singer revealed the sequence in an Instagram post, showing what is seemingly part of the artwork for the album. The tracklist is shown against a photo of Cyrus, presented in pink font with her initials written in silver each time one of the letters “M” and “C” appear.
Songs include “Midnight Sky,” the single released ahead of the album’s November 27 launch. The LP will feature appearances from Joan Jett, Billy Idol, and Dua Lipa, and includes song titles like “WTF Do I Know,” “High,” “Hate Me,” “Night Crawling,” and “Bad Karma.”
Cyrus previously released a remix of “Midnight Sky” called “Edge of Midnight”—a mashup with Stevie Nicks’ mega-hit “Edge of Seventeen.” The remix garnered acclaim upon its release, with critics calling it a perfect match.
As of late, Cyrus has been releasing covers that have also garnered acclaim and in some instances gone viral. Her covers of The Cranberries’ “Zombie” and Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” were even rumored to be on her upcoming studio album, though the tracklisting ultimately revealed that the songs did not make the cut.
The “Zombie” cover was performed as part of Cyrus’ set for the Save Our Stages virtual festival, which was broadcast from the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles. It quickly went viral, as did her rendition of The Cure’s “Boys Don’t Cry.”
