Imagine your dream career being personally guided by one of the world’s most famous country stars. That’s what life is like for Nashville singers Christian and Brody Clementi, otherwise known as CB30.
CB30 comes from the first letter of each brothers’ name, Christian and Brody, and the same day on each month, the 30th, when each was born.
Growing up with a successful songwriter father, these brothers seemed destined for musical glory. It helped that dad gave them an extra push.
Alison Bonaguro from CMT says Jay Clementi, the boys’ father, has known Bryan for years, writing songs for him, including “Love It Gone,” “Move,” and “I Knew You That Way.”
A connection doesn’t necessarily get you the gig, however, just your foot in the door. After hearing them perform live, though, Luke knew the teens had what it takes to make it in Nashville.
Their combination of sound, talent, and likability convinced Bryan to make it his mission to help CB30 “navigate the Nashville scene until they signed their current record deal,” according to Bonaguro.
Taking it a step further, Luke Bryan took the duo along with him on tour as the opening act for select shows, helping the brothers grow their fan base.
CB30 is currently signed to Buena Vista Records, a partnership between Disney Music Group and Universal Music Group Nashville. The harmonious sounds on their debut track “We Are Right Now” bring an infectious energy, just in time for summer.
We can’t wait to hear more music from CB30…they’re definitely on our radar and should be on yours!
