The Young Fables are an award-winning country duo that has appeared alongside big country names such as Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, and Josh Turner. The band is composed of Laurel Wright and Wes Lunsford, both prolific artists in their own right. Wright was a former contestant on American Idol and winner of the Texaco Country Showdown at the age of 16. Lunsford is a Gretsch endorsed guitarist and also a vocalist for the duo. 

The Young Fables released their sophomore album “Old Songs” with Grammy-award winning producer Mitch Dane, which earned them a spot performing at CMA Music Festival in 2018. The following year they were on the show Real Country by personal invitation from country legend Shania Twain. This show propelled the two to national notoriety, earning them acclaim in publications such as “The Boot”, “Nash Country Daily” and “Rolling Stone.”

Hailing from Tennessee, the pair describes their music as modern-traditional country, their melodies being reminiscent of country music’s roots. Their most recent single “Ain’t No Sunshine” showcases guitar-based melodies, southern vocals, and hometown Tennessee songwriting skills.
