Natalie Stovall’s “Can’t Love You No More” is a playful country tune with a soulful back beat that will have your toes tapping uncontrollably before you know what hit you. But it’s the clever lyrics–invoking a hot June evening, whiskey, ice cream, and lemonade–that will have you clicking play over and over again.
“Can’t Love You No More” is my swampy summertime anthem!” Natalie tells SCENES. “It’s all about loving something or someone so much that nothing could be better. I love any song that makes me want to sing at the top of my lungs, wail on the fiddle, and dance all night and this one does all of it. I wrote this with my buds, James Slater and Bobby Hamrick and we just laughed and talked about all of our favorite things.”
“Can’t Love You No More” was released on Friday, June 8th, and can be streamed on Spotify.
