On Friday, April 7, husband and wife duo NEELY jammed for SCENES Live Sessions from their home in Nashville. The couple shared a trio of songs that ranged from soulful ballads to upbeat acoustic rock exclusively for SCENES readers.
NEELY’s musical style is hard to pin down and that’s what singer/songwriter Jeremy Neely wants. As an independent band, they thrive on singing whatever is on their heart. With a range of musical styles from country to acoustic rock, NEELY’s sound is engaging and their lyrics thoughtful.
The pair started their set with “In the Middle,” an up-tempo number with Jeremy on main vocals. They also shared “Everything I Am,” a haunting alternative rock ballad featuring Kaci’s lyrical voice. “You and Me” rounded out the set, another eclectic acoustic rock number from their album Everything I Am.
