As DDAT tells it, all four men were national and international touring artists, when “one impromptu group performance at a festival sparked the fire that has burned across the country and is now known as DDAT.” This band is based in New Mexico and they classify their music as jazz, funk, hip hop and soul. In my humble opinion, their energy and spunk is like the grand jazz masters of old peppered with skit skat.
