Joy! One of Our Favorite Artists’ All New Music…

Joy Williams is back with new music! Brand new debut of her song and tour details...
One of our favorite artists at SCENES Media, Joy Williams, has just released new music and her tour dates, set to start in February.

Since her eponymous debut in 2001, Williams has released four solo albums and four EPs– and she has won four Grammy Awards. Her gift to the world now is the album, “Front Porch” which she co-wrote with Liz Rose and Emily Shackelton, and it debuts May 3, but for now, we’ve got the freshly released title track for you:

Williams tells Rolling Stone Magazine,“This record feels like breathing more deeply into who I am,” Williams said. “With [previous duo] the Civil Wars, there was a bit of an act that got clapped for. But instead of playing with a female archetype, now I just get to be myself… When you show up, you can let yourself be you as I am letting myself be me,” she says. “Front porch. Shoes off.”
